主要研究方向及成果：

主要从事纤毛虫原生动物的分类学和分子系统学及细胞发生学等。迄今已在国际主流刊物发表论文80余篇，出版专著3部。曾获国家自然科学二等奖1项和教育部自然科学成果一等奖3项。2004年获全国优秀博士论文提名奖、2005年入选教育部（第二届）“新世纪优秀人才”、2010年获山东省“青年科技奖”。

Honors and Awards:  

Second prize of the National Natural Science  Award with the second place; First prize of the Education Ministry Natural  Science Award (2001, 2004, 2008); The National 100 Excellent Dissertation  Nomination Award; The Education Ministry New Century Excellent Talent (2005);  the Youth Science and Technology Award of Shandong Province (2010). 

Research Interests: 

Taxonomy, systematics and cell development of  ciliated protozoan. Over 80 papers published in international peer-reviewed  journal and 3 books coauthored.
